Default MGS HD Collection $39.96

I don't remember this going on sale during Bf so this appears to be the lowest it has been at.

I still feel it's still high. $30 and we'll talk.

Well, if you can match it with 2 others at $50, you can get it for $33 at BB now. I've been rather uneasy with this release as I waited to get the PS2 MGS Essentials compilation that came out during 4's release, but it ended up becoming quite rare. Amazon's still selling that for $53.

Hmm well if you think it's too high then I will set my tracker and wait it out. I'm still hoping we get the original remastered. I know there was problems because it would be difficult for widescreen etc. but the anniversary is coming up.. I believe next year and it would be awesome to revisit Shadow Moses again.

All they have to do is take MGS: The twin Snakes (GC) and go from there (which is what the should have had in the collection to begin with because it's incomplete without the original MGS).

I think the whole purpose was to port over games that, until now, were unplayable on the PS3.

MGS can be bought from the PS Store or played off of a PS1 disc.

What I'm curious about: The packaging does not mention Substance or Subsistance... do we get any of the extras that came with either version (obviously not including the first MGO)

Does MGS3 have the free camera that was introduced with Subsistence? Secret Theatre? Skateboarding on the Big Shell?

I do know that Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 are included, which is awesome!
Check out my Star Wars Home Video Collection Website:
swhomevid.site40.net

Yes, I STILL BUY DVDs! Any DVD with extras not ported to the blu-ray is STILL WORTH BUYING!

Most recent blu-rays: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Triple Feature (April 26), Star Trek: The Original Series, Season 1 (April 20)

I already own the original releases of these but I'm a huge metal gear fan so it would be cool to own this set. Just waiting for the right price.
