u are wrong. fox set includes cantonese and mandarin in mono only. it was the english 5.1 mixes that featured those horrendous new foley effects.

No, the HK release has the original audio with the original foley effects. The US release has new mono tracks with the new foley effects.

So no mono tracks on the Kam and Ronson discs, then? Do the audio tracks on these discs have new foley?

So it seems that the Bruce Lee Hong Kong blurays are better quality than the USA versions (not Enter the Dragon though).

Yes they are but the audio is distracting. They've added new sound effects that felt out of place. Worst, some of the newly added sound effects doesn't even sync properly.

The HK BD's have the best picture quality, but some of the dvds have the original audio not messed up 5.1 with added foley effects

Had Shout partnered up with WB to include ETD, it would be the true epic definitive set! But u can just buy the 40th AE by itself, which I still havent done yet.

Pick it up! I did, and am glad. They really did a good job with the lossless audio. The picture is better-yet, somehow it's debatable the adjustments made actually are preferable.

The SHOUT! set has a nice book that houses the films. I'm loving it. Included are a couple rare photos, provided by George Tan, that Bruce Lee autographed for publicity and ETD. Though I've seen the shots before, I wasn't aware these were Lee's last autographs, done either the day of-or the day before he died.
