Unless I missed something in this thread, you need to add "Joe Hisaishi in Budokan: Miyazaki Anime to Tomo ni Ayunda 25 Nenkan Blu-ray" to your anime list for sure.

While this BD looks and sounds amazing, the white balance seems a bit too warm to me; and certain scenes just look kind of too "yellowish". Other than that, this is a highly recommended title for all Miyazaki / Hisaishi fans!

I am so excited about all the blu-rays from Namie. I really hope that Past< future tour blu-ray is better than best fiction tour. I mean the qualIty of blu-ray, the editing, filming have to be better than best fiction tour blu-ray.

Best fiction tour blu-ray was not a very good production because of the bad
editing and filming. They just wasted best fiction tour, it sucks!


At last,
I guess that they (Namie's company) might put the other old concerts of
Namie's into blu-rays in the future, just like tour from 2003-2004, 2001 and
2000.

I don't know about 1996 and 1997 ones, but i am still hoping we can
have all Namie's concerts in blu-ray format in the future.

Hikki's concert was pretty boring. So I'll wait in hopes for the price to ever drop (which I doubt). I'm thinking of gettin Ayumi Hamasaki's rock n roll circuis. Anyone seen that?

This is actually a K-Pop group, but Japan is releasing on Blu-ray their very successful 14 concert Japan tour that was held this past summer in Japan. I just pre-ordered from CDJapan.

This post is old, but I enjoyed Ayumi Hamasaki's Rock 'n Roll Circus. It's a huge production - there is a circus theme - and it looks really good on Blu-ray.

Some of her older concerts have also been released on Blu-ray, but they're all quite expensive. One could quickly go broke attempting to buy all her BD releases.

I saw that Yesasia and CDJapan had sold out, so I preordered my copy over at Playasia since I had a coupon. It's definitely not cheap, but that's to be expected being a Japanese release.

I just wish they included the solo acts on the BD. I guess copyright issues reared it's ugly head though.

I hope the PQ is better than the only other Japanese concert BD I bought; Namie's Best Fiction Tour. Everything about that release was subpar, unfortunately.

Girl's Generation....who can not love them after "Gee" ...lol... Not sure if I love all their music or love watching even more. But yeah, I listen to some K-Pop like 2NE1 and Big Bang. In fact, of the Asian music talent I interviewed, my most viewed was Tohoshinki (when they were a full group) back then.

But in terms of Blu-rays, man...I haven't watched a J-Pop blu-ray in a while. I did watch the "Documentary of AKB48 - to be continued -" which was released in the US courtesy of New People Entertainment a few weeks ago and I wish this documentary would get a Blu-ray release!

Hey! I got mine too! I've been watching non-stop the last couple of days. Listening to their music is great, but watching their performances w/ their songs is where they really shine.

I'm actually quite surprised at the blu-ray quality, I guess I wasn't expecting much, but the picture quality is good and it's presented in Dobly TrueHD.

Are most of the Blu-rays for this thread in the catalog on this site here? I want to add this to my collection.
