Yep. And i know we're venturing into grumpy old man territory here, so i'll be careful. I mean, i'm sure people were saying the same thing about radio and tv when it was first announced. I think it's all in how you use it or moderate it. I guess the fact that this tech is mobile makes it more ubiquitous and makes me feel like there's more of a danger of it creeping into every aspect and moment of our lives. I really think our goal as humans should be more self reliance and independence, to simplify life and not make it more complicated. I have a hard enough time with material possessions, due to my love of music and movies. I think these devices give us the illusion of independence, but in fact are just doing the opposite.
