Yes Tech I have seen an LED LCD, enough to choke a horse as they say. I should have clarified that I was talking about edge lit LED and not full array which is very nice as far as shadow detail and blacks are concerned. But again yes I have seen an LED LCD. How can you not? There in every BB, Target, Walmart, Sears, you name it so you can help but not see them. Besides that my freind has one so its not to hard not to see it when I am over at his house. lol

WSJ (subscription required) say that Sony are looking to bring this to the market before the end of 2012. It should also be noted that Sony have not announced a HX9xx series so far either so they could be saving it for a CLED TV to come out in October/November this year.

I have heard the same from sources of my own, that this is a real product and production issues are already minimised.

If you're right, it's an exciting year for TV! OLED finally hits in big sizes and Sony does something completely new!

Just fyi- The Sony HX900 series has been out already. Back in 2010- 2011 and has been cancelled i believe. Along with the HX900-909 came the LX. I have a SonyXBRLX900 60" its sweet!
