Default Sharp LC60LE632U

We have a pretty bright living room and our plasma reflects too much light so we want to upgrade to one that won't have as much glare.

It's got a pretty good price tag at Best Buy this week.

Anybody have one or have any opinions?

I got one on November 7th and I love it.

For me, it seemed like it took a lot of playing with to get the colors right. The factory settings were okay, but not the best. Red was extremely dominant and would affect skin tones to make everyone look like they had sunburn. This was especially true for standard definition streaming via Netflix and DVDs. I used a Spears & Munsil calibration disk that helped somewhat, but I eventually just popped in The Thin Red Line blu-ray (best-looking movie on my old TV) and played with the settings until the picture looked perfect.

So it may take several sittings and some tweaking to reach your desired viewing settings, but apart from that, it's absolutely awesome. I got mine nearly perfect and have honestly never seen a better TV. I watched Avatar the other night and nearly s**t myself. I compared How to Train Your Dragon on my TV to my friend's Panasonic Plasma (the Spears & Munsil is actually his) and I can honestly say that the Sharp beat it without contest.

I can post my viewing settings if you do decide to get it.

TV: Panasonic Viera TC-P55VT50 3D Plasma
Blu-Ray Player: 160GB Sony Playstation 3 Slim
Surround Sound: Coming 2013...

I have two small windows that sit behind where I have the TV placed which are shrouded from the outside mostly by the front porch and shrubs, and a third window to the left that is wide open and catches the sunset every night.

That being said, I have experienced zero problems with glare.
