sony s350 loads to bd main menu then no response help - Blu-ray Forum

First thought it was a remote issue, bought cheap uni remote experiencing same issue.

BD loads to main menu however I can't negative through the menu & when I press play no response.
stop works but nothing else, I don't have a recent firm ware update, help please

It is possible that the firmware needs to be updated but If this is a smart blu-ray player then you you to allow it to fully load up to use it. I would suggest to upgrade your current blu-ray player to either another Sony or go with the Dynex blu-ray player It's on sale right now at bestbuy for only $59.99 plus tax and It's a smart blu-ray player and is wifi.

hey zodiak, are you still having this issue? did you ever get it fixed and does it actually happen to all ur blu rays?

why im asking is because im experiencing similar issue with Sony's new blu ray player BDV-N590 - it can play movies fine but sometimes when I'm loading certain blu-rays and makes some selection in the menu, nothing happens and the disc will stop responding
