It was just one person. They bought the DM2/6 cause it had more warmth. I have not heard the DM2/6, but the 3/7s were a much more forward sound then any of the Excites and Contours.

So are you still working?

What the hell I did not feel that with the 3/7 vs the X32 maybe the pairing boraudio vs T&A not sure if tha makes any sense but true it was not side by side comparaison but I thought they were close tonally speaking.

The Excites use a variation of the Contour S1.4s D280 tweeter that I spoke about yeasterday, the D28Titan. So the tone and performance of the Excites tweeter is pretty similar. Of course the Contour tweeter produces better detail and a larger soundstage, but the Excites tone and the 1.4s are close. I got to hear the DM 3/7s and S1.4s in the same room at the same time. Both on T+A gear, the KT88 blu-ray receiver. At the same volume level the 3/7s were louder then the Contours. Know IDK if that has to do with the sensitivity, 86(3/7s) v 85(s1.4), but that 1 db shouldn't make that much of a difference. Even Sunny's helper was surprised at the sound level difference between the 2. The lower trebble, IMO, is a little tipped up.

Don't let what one guy says about your speakers get you down. I bet dollars to donuts, he's never even heard them in person. There's always a few people over at AVS that like to get a bit uppity.

Oh, Im not worried. thanks Wabo. What I found funny is that guy bought Dynaudio's lowest entry level speaker.... maybe he doesn't like detail, soundstage, imaging and bass; all things you get as you move up the ladder more and more.

when I was in college we got email addresses when email and internet was still in its infancy, 1994. they did it buy using your first 5 letters of your last name Callahan (CALLA) the 1 letter of your first name Steve(S), and then the number was the designation of if you were the first(01), second(02), tenth(10), fifty-second(52). So since UCR had just introduced email that year, I was the first CALLAS... therefore I got the 01 number... CALLAS01.

I used it for my hotmail account when email became more prominent... and its just stayed with me since.

So then, is your first name Hamp?

lol... I was typing fast and my wife was calling me, and I wasn't thinking. After I sent the posting and after answering my wife question, everything you explained already had popped into my head. I was typing so fast, I type 'first name' instead of 'last name'. We were running late, I couldn't edit my post.

HAMP, has always been a nick and short for Hampton. Most of the time, I'm called HAMP by someone before they learn my screen name.
