To me, when even the Trailer can't sell a movie, that's pretty sad/pathetic, right? Plus, I heard this wasn't screened for Critics. Whenever one hears the phrase, "This Movie was NOT Screended for Critics", that shows even the Studio isn't behind the film. IF they Were, they'd be hoping for Positive Reviews the Friday a movie opens, so MORE people go to the theaters. Holy Tell-Tale sign Batman!

The only good thing I have to say about this movie is that it was preceded by the Prometheus, Spiderman and Wrath of the Titan's trailers in 3D.

This movie was terrible and its sad because Ghost rider is a bad ass character.The only parts i liked was when Nicholas cage was acting crazy that had me rolling

.I hope they reboot this with a Better Story and a better Johnny blaze.i give this a 2/5

This movie is a total blast! this film makes much better use of Cage than the original which completely wastes him. Idris Elba's french accent is wack as heck but for me, his character kinda holds the entire film together. the action scenes are clever and inventive. the finale sorta had a Road Warrior thing going on which was cool. I think most ppl/critics trashing it are over analyzing it and taking it waay too seriously. its 90 min of pure kinetic energy and well worth my $10. i definitely enjoyed this much more than the original.

I enjoyed it as well. Good thing is the official budget has finally been given, $57 million. Sony will probably at least get their money back. They definitely won't make a profit. But in all honesty, I see this becoming a bit of a cult classic.

Somewhere in the future. I'm really conflicted with the movie. I likes it, felt it could've been better and just feel kinda bad for the film. Because Cage seemed generally interested in this film. As opposed money-hungry Cage.

When I saw the first one, it was on DVD and I rated it 2.5 on 5...

Last week, I watched it again on Blu-ray. I was ready to see a terrible movie, but I quite enjoyed it. Maybe it's because of the longer cut, or because I was expecting a bad movie... But I gave it 4 on 5. Loved the Gothic look and the special effects.

I rate the movies without comparing to another one. Ghost Rider is 4, but a more serious / classic movie can also share a 4, but one can be a far superior movie. But if I only rate the movie for what it is, the rating can be higher if it was entertaining and if I liked what I saw.

And I just saw the sequel today, and this one gets a 4 on 5 too, because I really loved the European set, the monks story with a sorcery-satanism theme! And the special effects were a lot better. I really hope make a third one, the ending is pointing in a great direction!

Hopefully it won't have to come to that. If I were offered to be able to write it I would turn it down. It would be the beginning and the end of my writing career.

Here's my idea for it though. The set would just be this huge pile of tires on fire, to represent hell. Stick a camera infront of Cage and just have him do his "freakouts" for 82 minutes. Every now and then have a quick cut to Peter Fonda saying "Riiiiidddddeeerrr" in a slow and raspy voice. I'm sure it would gross half of what this one will.

Q: Why didn't Nic Cage's original hairpiece return for Ghost Rider 2?
A: Because it read the script

I do feel bad for the fans of the comic character though, I took the same beating as a Green Lantern fan.
