We watched this in 3D and the 3D experience was ok, so I will get this in 2D. Can't wait.

Oh I hope it is some moments of character-building. Film was really short in theaters.

What are the chances that a store give the Animated Disc from the new Trilogy release as an Exclusive Bonus?

I'm still not thrilled to buy the trilogy again only for 22 min. of Animated Features, but still, I would like to own them...

I'll be the first to say it since I know somebody will comment on the price... Don't freak out about the 3D version's price yet. It will drop severely before May 8th.

Will it be a 3D/2D combo pack? Also, I watched it in 2D yesterday and I seriously missed the pop out scenes.

I believe all Sony 3D discs just have the option to watch it in 2D on the 3D disc. That's how my copy of Resident Evil Afterlife in 3D is. I hope they didn't change that.

I'd actually skip on the 3D one then if the extra 2D option goes away....

or buy both cause I'm a sucker for Kate hah

Missed it at the theater, but I I will definitely be blind buying the 2D version as I have like the first three installments very much. 3D is still too primitive for my tastes.

I would love to see a 3D/2D combo back similar to how Disney does there releases. Caught this in IMAX 3D and it was awesome although a bit short definite day 1 purchase for me.

They will never ditch the 2D option in a 3D release. That would hurt sales because there are people building their 3D collections even if they don't have a 3D TV yet. Take the 2D option away and their hands are forced to skip the 3D one for now. If Sony's current method is working for them, they will continue to put both versions on one disc. The only possible change would be putting them on separate discs like other studios do, but that's probably not changing. Their current method is fine by me as long as it doesn't take away any quality.

Definitely Day 1 for me. I LOVE the Underworld series, and I saw this one in IMAX 3D. LOVED it, can't wait to watch it on Blu-ray!

I wish the movie was longer.
88 minutes was too short.
Adopted Blu-ray long before its development and launch.

I don't know if this is a Day 1 for me. Could be a good 9.99 BF candidate.

Underworld 5 is a possibility, so that boxset might not be the best option.
