Nonesense like that will kill 3D and leave it in fad territory. Worse still, it'll still rob business from movies like this.
Yeah I remember reading somewhere that the movie has been done and ready for over a year or more and now they decide to release it. If not for 3D it would be a straight to DVD/BD movie.

Ramona has made around $16 million by today. I think it will make at least a little over $20 million in theaters and a lot from home video sales.

Just in case anyone missed it last week...

Joey King on Leno (Part 1)
Joey King on Leno (Part 2)

lol She's funny! Jay was talking to her about how she lost some teeth while filming Ramona and Beezus. He also bought her a baby pig for her birthday, which was really nice of him. The look on her face is priceless!

I have the Blu/DVD/DC of Ramona, and I'm glad to own it. It was much, much, much better than virtually any other modern film I've seen.

Gotta agree with you. Out of all the family/children's movies I have seen Ramona is easily in the top 3 of live action.

Sucks that it won't be getting a sequel with Joey or Selena but kinda good as both have moved on and are getting a ton of roles.

Selena replacing Miley in an animated film coming in the near to distant future, wonder how that will turn out, definitely looking forward to grabbing Muppets next month.

So happy that Selena replaced Miley as I just can't really stand her anymore. Would rather listen to Selena voicing a character then Miley.

Can't wait to grab the Muppets

WRT that sequel: I was hoping to see one with at least Joey in it, and I thought that there would be (it was, IIRC, supposed to have the name of Ramona's Big World or Ramona's World or something like that). If I also remember correctly, it was also supposed to have Bailee Madison in it as Daisy Kidd.

I to was looking forward to Ramona's World but it seems that for some reason it was scrapped. Was hoping the Ramona movies would find the audience and release schedule of the Diairy of A Wimpy Kid movies as they seem to release one of those every year.

Happy that Joey's finding a lot of work and in some pretty high profile movies to but wish she'd do another Ramona.

It would have taken a long time before I would have watched this movie if I hadn't viewed it with my 12 year-old niece. I loved it, and the actress who played Ramona was hilarious. She should have a good career if she remains in the acting field.

She has a pretty good career since Ramona appearing in Battle:LA, The Dark Knight Rises, Crazy, Stupid Love, Oz The Great and Powerful. All high profile movies since then with also a few indies and was just casted in The Warren Files a new horror film from Jams Wan.

Plus she's staring in a new sitcom starting this year sometime on NBC called Bent.

When that Bent comes in on NBC, I may record a trial on my DVR to see what it's like. If Joey is as good in that as she was w/Ramona, it may be a regular thing for me.
