That’s what I figured but wasn’t totally sure!!

Thanks fors*

So…next project, building my bar.

I don’t think I’m gonna have a straight bar…it’s probably gonna start on the wall where my gladiator poster is currently hanging (I’ve got pix in my ht gallery, it’s on the north wall)….and it’ll come out about 3-4 feet or so to the south and make 45 degree angle, go about 2-3 feet, and make another 45 back towards the east wall.

It’ll end up being a dry bar. I also plan on building a set of cupboards for behind it that will sit in the corner where the booze will all sit.

Then I’ll come up w/something as far as cabinets on each side of the cupboards and then hang a 32: tv in the middle.

I’m hoping once winter is over and our elec. bills aren’t quite so high that I can start on it. It’ll also depend on what happens here @ work in the next month or so….we’re expecting to hear on the gov’t contract that we currently hold.

If we lose the contract, I’m not sure they’ll keep the office I currently work in open.

To actually answer your question I watch between -20dB and -10dB.

Hope that makes sense.

Check out page 54 of your manual
■Volume Display
-Absolute:
Display range is “Min”, “0.5” through “99.5”,
“Max”.
-Relative(THX):
Display range is “–dB”, “–81.5dB” through
“+18.0dB”.
With this setting, you can choose how the volume level is

The absolute value 82 is equivalent to the relative value
0 dB.

Congrats on the full speaker setup. Is it everything you hoped for. It's been a long time coming. How did the movie night go?

me & my buddy had our faces rocked off!!

i still have to get a small piece of carpet from my parents....they have extra after redoing the 2nd level of their house....the sub just doesn't sound right and i think the tile floor is the main culprit there.

other than that, the whole set up sounds great....we watched Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

my buddy was really impressed!!

Stopped @ my parents’ house last night and swiped a 2’x2’ piece of carpet that they had left over from their remodel.

Hopefully I’ll be able to test it out 2nite and see if it makes the bass sound a little richer.

There's SO many different styles, sizes, etc., but I'd suggest you check out the DIY Riser Thread (if you haven't already).

happy friday everyone!!

me thinks i got my sub set to a descent level finally.

the kids were watching The Incredibles last night while me & my wife were upstairs watching The Big Bang Theory.

it wasn't turned up to loud for them but you could tell from upstairs that it was deep and rich finally.

me & the wife may sit down there and watch die hard 2nite.

Thanks guys….i’m gonna run audyssey again this weekend sometime and see where the sub is sitting @ right now vs. where it was the 1st time I ran it and then monkeyed w/it.

That small piece of carpet I put under it seems to be doing a descent job.

got my basement vacuumed 2nite. i then took the swifer wetjet to the floor as well after dusting everything.

got the couches cleaned and the pillows set back up since the kids always throw them all over the floor.

then dusted the tv, av shelves, and then the movie cabinet as well.

looks really good!!
