I'd far rather see Vaughn direct a Kick Ass sequel than X-Men Second Class. I'm pretty indifferent to PG-13 superhero event flicks at this point.

As someone already mentioned...Millar is hardly a reliable source. AFAIK, they haven't even started on the script :\

Summer would be a good time, though. If they are going to do a sequel, they can't wait much longer. They could really build on the performance of the solid BO performance of the first film if they are smart.

Her brother Trevor, who u see her with a lot is like 6'4 so Id expect Chloe to be tall.

Millar and Stan Lee r the two go to guys in the comic world if u want a quote. Say hello to either one and they will announce something. With Millar, where there is smoke there is fire, but it may only be a lighter in the audience. Millar seems to hear things and pass them on but he seems to add weight to the tale. He's the kind of guy u need a second source with.

Why would it matter how tall she gets? People grow up lol she still looks fairly young enough to pull off the role and obviously time will elapse in the film I would assume. So I'm sure it is fine.

It matters because the core of her character's appeal lies with who she was and what she endured when she was a kid. Once you get past a certain age, what was once considered endearing to the audience (as charming as a potty-mouth kid can be) is now perceived as repellent behaviour-wise.

It would have been nice if Chloe could have reprised her role, but kids grow up and the audience has to adjust their expectations accordingly.

I think a good opportunity was missed here to make a sequel with Hit girl still looking like she was only two years older, but i'm sure they could adapt the story somehow.

I dunno if that idea would work if the script was going to be based on a comic part that has already been done and was going to be the basis of the sequels story

She is still a young kid...she JUST turned 15. There is no reason for a sequel without her.

Collider: Since there’s been talk of it again, will there finally be a Kick-Ass sequel?

AARON JOHNSON: It’s pretty much set to go, this Fall. I think now Chloe [Grace Moretz] and Chris [Mintz-Plasse] are on board. I’m certainly set up to do it. Jeff Wadlow is to direct. Yeah, I think it’s going to happen.

Have you gotten to see a script yet?

JOHNSON: Yeah, I have.

Will it be a hard R, as far as the rating goes?

JOHNSON: Oh, yeah! It keeps the standard, from the first film.

Are you surprised at how much people have been asking for a sequel to that film, really since the release of the first one?

JOHNSON: Yeah, and I think that’s why Matthew Vaughn has got his name all over this one, as well. The only way he was ever going to make a sequel was if it could be anywhere close to the first one, and keep that class and that quality, and just maintain something original and new and refreshing. And this script delivers all of that, right now. I’m excited to get back in the suit.

You are right though. None of the cast was confirmed. No official announcement has been made actually, but still, there's no way they wouldn't be back anyways.

He kinda says he's set to go but doesnt really say he signed a contract. Then he says he's set to go because Moretz and Mintz-Plasse r on board but I havent seen anything about them actually signing either.
