It is locked to Region B. I tested it on my Region A PS3.
I thought this movie was a hoot! It's a real shame this didn't get a proper US release. |

yeah it is nice movie. 3D is generally good with some scenes that amazing depth and some nice pop outs as well. Yes some scenes aree to bright but overall i would say a stellar 3D release.

Not sure if anyone in region-a countries is still paying attention to this, but the 3D version is available for rent and to own on Sony's PSN. It's $7.50 to rent and $29.99 to own, so if you don't want to just rent it on Vudu or don't wan't to pay the $40.99 I think Yes Asia is charging then this might be your best bet. I just rented it since the pg-13 rating kinda made me wary of it.
Overall the movie was alright, and the 3D was one of the best I've seen so far. The only negative I have about the 3D was the underwater scenes for some reason kept messing with my vision, but that's just a problem with my eyes and probably not a general thing. If the 3D blu-ray actually makes it to the US and Amazon has it for $20, I would probably buy it. |

Also think it looks stunning. Some scenes have incredible depth. Then there is also over a handful of very nice pop outs. Have not regret my purchase of this little nice 3D blu ray popcorn movie

It would be a shame if they didn't release this here in the US. I mean they already have a masterable disc, most they would need to do is covert the menus (assuming they aren't in english already) and make new box art. Seems pretty easy.

I truly hope they will release this in the US this year. Don't want to go through YesAsia price.
Still don't understand why they didn't release this here. We all know this is not going to win any Oscar.

I still have my ticket stub from seeing this in the "real" theater (and come to think of it ... I still have the glasses too.)
It was the day after opening night and I took a friend and he and I were the only people in the theater. I love shark movies and jaws-wannabees. I was sad when I heard it wasn't in 3D here. I also dig 3D. I will just forget this one though unless I find it used under $5 or if I can get it cheap enough in 3D either imported or with a RegionA release. I wouldn't watch this one in 2D.

So it looks like Vudu lowered their price on this. Only 21.99 now for the 1080p stereoscopic version. Not bad, especially since you can download it to watch later. I might buy it.

Nah mine didn't, not seen one in shops either .. we can't complain at the price that it is though I don't think. Fright Night DOES have a slip, but don't get excited, it ain't a special one by any stretch.
