OK, all the drivers of 1 speaker box have been pre-mounted!
I am gonna do the second box tomorrow. I got a little time now because i have until saturday. Thats when i am going to apply the base coat!

P.S. The bass tubes are not pushed in yet and the speaker rings and clam shell are not clear coated yet either!

Looking great!!! I bet they will sound very nice also! This is a hard to match project. Is that a cabinet shop?

Anybody looking to build some speakers could learn alot from this thread also.

I think there is no reason for Kef to sue me!
A buddy of mine said the exact same thing: Quote: Don't be surprised if you get a job offer from Kef!

Thanks Henry,
It's not even close to be a cabinet shop!
In our shop we manufacture ceramic dewatering elements for paper mills!

Mounting flange for the clam shell is glued in place. Everything fits very precisely that there is no gap at all.
I still need to drill the mounting holes for the clam shell! Once the clam shell is screwed to the speaker box, it will have a very good seal without any air leakage!
