YES!!! I use to watch R&M all the time. I love Lisa Kudrow! I wish these studios would start focusing more on catalog titles. I find myself wanting more catalog titles and not getting them due to them not being released, then buying new films that are being released. They don't make movies like they use to.

Yeah, it's sad that R&M and Grosse Pointe Blank don't even have U.S. anamorphic DVD's. Hopefully they will get a BD release. I wasn't holding my breath for Clueless on BD given Paramount's aversion to catalog, but here it is, so there is hope!

This will be the third edition of Clueless I own. I have the original dvd release, the Whatever edition and now this one. But it's a movie I watch all the time and while I'm cutting back on other new purchases I'm definitely picking this up in the first week. I can't wait to see the transfer.

Yes, this could be a pretty impressive BD with it's bright color scheme. I hope Paramount does a good job with this, like they did with The Ring.

I have to ask.... I watched this movie on Comedy Central and didn't care for it. Is there any chance my opinion of the movie will change if I watch the uncut & uncensored version?

I'm not aware of how much Comedy Central edits, so I don't know if they edit a lot and how much it impacts the enjoyment of the film.

It took me about two or three viewings to "get" this movie, but now it's one of my favorites. The dialogue just includes so much slang and comes rapid-fire (like old screwball comedies), so yeah, watching it on TV with commercials doesn't help.

The dialogue isn't that hard to understand, IMO. I think it's smart. "I was surfing the crimson wave."

The designer imposter perfume line always makes me laugh. I'm still waiting for a moment to happen so I can use that in real life.

Why is this getting re-released when it just recently came out?

Anyway, watching it again now. One of my top 10 all time fave movies.

WB just purchased the rights to a ton of Parmount catalog titles.. they will also be rereleasing a bunch of OOP titles as well. i.e. Zodiac, Hot Rod

It's another one of the titles that Paramount sold to Warner. Not that I knew it until you mentioned it, but I'm sure that's going to happen with other titles too.
