Okay! Yeah when you get a chance, I'd be curious to see which extras were ported over. I recall there being several different postings about it in this thread. Not like it's really going to change my preorder as I've been looking forward to these movies for a while now!

I really like how the slipcovers look for the sets. The film I'm sure doesn't look that great in HD, I mean it's a comedy series, but still, I'm looking forward to getting the first 2. I love the series to death and I haven't owned it on DVD before.

That really doesn't make much sense. Are you implying that comedy catalogs can't/won't have good transfers?

I've seen 2 samples so far, AP2 looks awsome and American Wedding looks like sh** compaired to the other. Haven't seem any samples for AP1 yet. If American Wedding looks anything like the sample I'll pass and get the first two. Any prices for these yet? I thought I'd read they were going for $10 each?? Either way I can't wait.....

I'll take that sentiment one step further: I'll use BD.com's review as a starting point for my decision making process on said title. As sometimes I don't always agree with their conclusion, albeit quite rarely!

Same here. I've used this as an example before, but I have to bring up Predator (2008 version). It got a 3/5 for PQ on this site, which led to me waiting a very long time to decide whether, or not, I wanted to get it. When I finally had a chance to get it for dirt cheap and watch it, I was surprised to see how much I liked the transfer. Another example can be quite a few of the DCU animated films, which have 3.5's for their PQ. Maybe I just have rookie eyes (I doubt it), which I'm grateful for if that's the case, but I think all of the ones I own look great. I do read, and use this site's reviews as a starting point as well though. I also check DVDTalk, High-Def Digest, AVS Forum, High-Def Disc News, and a few other review sources as well, to get a diversity of opinions.

I'm hoping these drop down to 11.99 release week like the Universal titles that are coming out this week did. I normally wouldn't mind paying 14.99 for a new catalog title, but when you need all 3 films it's pricey. This should have been a box set like in the UK.

Either way, I'm picking these up!
