Very happy to see Nite Tide coming, hopefully at a decent price as it's a public property film.

It is the Curtis Harrington film. It was part of the Image/Kino dealings under the Milestone Collection.

Combine this snippet from an interview with Kino's Bret Wood...
"Some of my classic projects in 2012 include Louis Feuillade's serial Les Vampires (BluRay and DVD)" ...with this recent posting from Nitrateville.com... "I finished up our score for Les Vampires yesterday, and sent it off to Kino. It's Mont Alto's biggest project to date. " ...and I'm getting excited! |

+1 It has been a long, long wait. Looking forward to seeing it and being able to sell my DVD version.

Pleased and surprised by the Kubrick announcement. The short films, it must be said, are fairly dull and FEAR AND DESIRE is a curiosity at best. But if the Kubrick estate are prepared to let this get a release, there's no telling what they might sign off on in future.

Fantastic! I wondered if the shorts would be joining Fear & Desire, great news that they have
The films aren't great but, in terms of importance, this is candidate for release of the year. Last edited by Yami; 03-21-2012 at 05:49 PM. |

![]() Really ecstatic to hear this. Though they probably won't be the best things Kubrick ever did, it's still great to own these, and therefor every single movie Kubrick directed.
Blu-ray releases should be perfect representations of their cinema counterparts.
