Makes me glad I don't collect games for their steelbooks, but for their content. Still on the fence on this one, as I'd like some of the DLC stuff. If I can find it on release date, great, but I'm not sure if I'm going to rush to the store to pick it up

My friend who works at Gamestop told me tonight that the PS3 version is also G1. I didn't personally see it so I cannot confirm and I think he would know better than to toy with me about something like that. Let's hope he was lying and we are still due a G2 version!

keeping my fingers crossed for a g2 size on ps3... dont want a g1 sb in my ps3 collection :P

For the PS3? ? If yes then they did the same as when Dragon Age Ultimate Edition came out.
It was a Metalpak and G1 but its better then a Metal tin like Dark souls collectors edition.

So is the US edition not a steelbook? Cause the EU version is.

It may be a G1, but this might be one of my favorite steelbooks ever to be honest, even if G1.

Wow, I am blown away that the EU gets a Steelbook brand but the US gets Metal Pack bullshit. I got mine from Amazon (Xbox 360) and its a Metal Pack. If they switched it for PS3 to get Steelbooks and Xbox 360 being Metal Packs I will be highly upset

Hey guys, picked mine up today, but haven't been able to take pictures of anything but the front and back cover. I'll post some pictures of the 360 CE when I get a chance. I'll rely on your expertise on if it is a steelbook or not when I do. I don't really care about that. I'm just glad I was able to snag one at Target. My son woke me up around 10 to 7 this morning. So I called two stores and had them hold 1 for me. Went to the first store I called and the packaging was a bit beat up. By the time I got to second Target store my copy was the last one for sale and Best Buy was sold out. Luckily the packaging wasn't bad and I'm pretty happy. Put it in my truck and took a walk down to Gamestop in the mall and they were sold out too. Didn't check any other surrounding areas, but it seems to be selling pretty great here in my area.

I picked up mine from Fry's Electronics for 79.99 on Tuesday 3/6/12, they had like 2 left. All Best Buy's and Game Stop's in my area were sold out, Trying to get my hands on the Mass Effect 2 Collectors Edition brand new for under 150.00
