But to judge people and call them boring can be seen as a personal jibe by some - unsurprisingly. I hate to say it, but if you don't like what people talk about in the 3D Movies thread, then you really shouldn't venture in there.

Anyway, I think we have all gone off topic a little somewhat there, let's get back to the OP.
Mate, obviously you haven't read everything that's been said between Banibale and I in this thread (especially since Banibale and I have been having a civil conversation sharing our point of views). If you had, then you would be aware of and up to speed with certain things, like how I've already mentioned that I barely venture in the "3d Blu-ray Movies" area of this site for certain reason, and that I only called people boring if they watch the same 3d movie multiple times in the same week, in response to Banibale saying that he feels people who don't like certain 3d movies, such as Puss in Boots and Open Season, must be boring 3d haters. Maybe you shouldn't jump to conclusions, and should read everything that's been said, because no one is judging anyone, we are just discussing our opinions.
Setup
Samsung pn59d8000 tv, Sony strda5300es receiver, Emotiva XPA-2 & XPA-5 amps, Dali Concept 10's (fronts), Concept 2's (rears), and Concept centre speakers, 2x SVS PB13-Ultra subs, Oppo bdp-93 blu-ray player (region free), Onkyo c-s5vl sacd player, Sony rdr-hx910 dvd recorder, Xbox 360 250gb slim, PS3 60gb, Cyron Pro lights+htw1000, Samsung s2 1tb hdd, power Monster HDP1000, Logitech Harmony 1100i

Well as others have said in the past, your avatar certainly sums up your attitude. And YES of course I have read and been UP TO SPEED with your so called conversations with Bani, as if you did bother to take any notice I too have been involved with the discussions .... so get over yourself.

Lol, now who's judging and stereotyping? A bit hypocritical don't you think! What does my avatar have to do with anything? To be honest my Avatar come to be from a particular mood I was feeling 1 day a while back, but I've left it up only because of all the little references I've received like yours, using it to base the type of person you think I must be.

Like you I have 3d gear, and I enjoy some movies in 3d, but the differences between us is that I'm clearly not a 3d fanboy like you seem to be. I'm so sorry that I supposedly hurt your feelings and insulted your 3d way off life, I didn't know that it was forbidden for anyone to have a different view about it other than yours. It's funny how hardcore fanboys stick together. If Banibale can refer to people who don't like certain 3d films as boring 3d haters, then surely I can refer to people who watch the same small handful of 3d titles all the time, as being boring IMO too, but according to you obviously not. Maybe it's you who should get over yourself.

Other than that what else has been said, the answer is nothing other than facts. There's nothing wrong with you or others preferring to watch mainly 3d content, and I haven't implied as such, but it is a fact that you are limiting yourself to what's out there by doing so, even though you are completely fine with choosing to do that. It's also a fact that there is much more to films and the overall experience than just 3d, even if 3d is personally your favourite part about films. Another fact is that I have witnessed comments from members on this site, stating that they have bought particular 3d blu's only for the 3d effects even though they don't really like the film in general. Yes it's their money and they can ultimately buy what they like, I've got no problem with that whatsoever, but I can also have the opinion that some clearly aren't true movie fans if they couldn't careless about every other aspect which makes up a movie other than 3d.

Too me your original post containing that comment implied more than just being boring if you didn't like the humor in those movies you mentioned. It's all good though, I've got no issue with you Banibale, I thought we had a good conversation and throughout developed a better understanding of each others point if view

I don't feel I'm being any more or less disrespectful to steelerik, than he's being towards me. It's got nothing to with anyone not liking what I like, in fact I see it the other way around, as I normally only reply to comments about 3d when I feel someone is being a fanboy, such as when people who prefer passive start ranting over exaggerated claims about why they hate active. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and is free to voice it, but when we all voice our opinions on these boards it's up for debate, as there is always going to be someone who disagrees.
