When it comes to price drops I'll bet Indiana Jones is more like Jurassic Park or Back to the Future than Star Wars.

Not 1 or 2 months after it's been released, assuming it is released in either September/October.

They will actually get my money on this one, as opposed to Star Wars.
Best films of 2013: Side Effects, 42
Worst films of 2013: Man of Steel, Place Beyond The Pines.

We're talking Paramount here, not Universal.

Year old Paramount titles are still selling for MSRP, and several are just plain OOP, rather than drop their price.

I'm sure it'll drop further as we approach release date. I'm guessing $59.99 or lower.
Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen.

Agreed I'm sure Best Buy or Target will have it for $59.99 day 1, I think $15 per catalog title seems to be a fair price, but then again it is Paramount like some have said so they might just stick it to us

Honestly, we should be talking about whether Target or others will be offering anything special with the set, ala The Muppets. Does anyone have a line on this one yet? Typically Amazon just sells the set, but places like BB and others offer some sort of special to get sales.

If I were the forum, I'd hold off on the sale price to see what the other retailers are gonna offer. Remember what everyone did for Star Wars to get us in the door?

Also, do we know if the special features will be in HD, or are we talking SD transfers from the DVD's?

I don't think any of the retailer exclusive "bonus" things that were offered with the SW blu ray sets were all THAT special. I went with the Target ones, but even then it wasn't like such a big deal for me.

With the Indy set, anything short of a promotional Indy-style satchel will simply not be anything worth getting excited about, imho.

Wrapped in a mini satchel with a replica copy of the Grail Diary inside would be cool too.
