I have 2 sony blu-ray players that work great but i've also been hearing a lot about the panasonic blu-ray players as well.

I'm going to be getting a Epson 310 projector w/ a 100-120 inch screen and was wondering if anyone recommended for a 3D player one of these over the other?

I have a Panasonic (T210) player and it's pretty great. I read a whole thing about colour replication on the equivalent Sony models not being as good (can't find it now) but whether you'd even notice that in normal viewing, I have no idea - it was a very technically-focused article.

Get the T310 if you need dual HDMI outputs (maybe one to your projector and one to your amp?) - otherwise the T210 is the same machine.

The 2011 Panasonic players are the fastest in the market.I have the 310 and am very satisfied with the performance.

Looks like the DMP-BDT220/BDT320 are out in stores now if you are interested in the newer models. Also the Sony BDP-S590.

I've read nothing but great things about the Panasonic BDT310 What Hi-Fi, Sound & Vision gave it 5*

I will be buying one myself in a week or two as I just got a 3DTV and want to give my PS3 a break and because my reciever is only 1.3a complient so Dual HDMI on the Panasonic BDT310 is the perfect way to get full HD audio without upgrading my reciever.

Beware of Panasonic. My DMP-BDT300 crapped out 3 months after the warranty. That is a whole 15 months of viewing. I might add that it's use was light to average at the best.

Guy at the store said it would be 3 to 4 weeks before I got it back. So I bought a samsung 3D player instead. Added bonus, it plays all the formats. Panasonic is now in the recycle bin.

Note to self buy extended warranty next time. All I can say at this point is I am disappointed with the Panny 3d player.

Formats i.e. mkv, X264, avi, Xvid, DivX. With the panasonic you had to register the player on their web site. Model is actually DMP-BDT100. Sorry bout that.

Ahh I see.

I only need it for the BD playback and dual HDMI so should be fine and and a 5 year warrenty is only 10% of the players price so £17.95 pretty damn good price.

The postmark deadline IS March 31st, but according to the rebate form you won't be able to get the Avatar 3D if you purchase the player now. The form says the cutoff date was Feb. 29th.

I found a 210 in a Best Buy with the yellow Avatar Sticker on and bought it......still brand new in the box. I asked the guy at BB if it was still good and he said yes. I got home and checked it out online to be sure before I opened it and saw that it ended Fed 29th.

I called BB and Panasonic and neither will allow me to get it even though its only been a month. Why couldn't they just include it in the player box instead of this mail off crap.

I'm probably going to return the player and get a newer/better one since there is a no go on the 3D Avatar BluRay

Do you have any advice on how I might be able to get the movie who else to call......even though the deal expired?
