Not sure but they don't list DTS-HD-Master Audio as a supported feature. Dolby Tru-HD is listed.
Thanks, T

cool its not listed on their site. I would look for a setting in the audio section for bitstream or pcm (on the HDMI audio options) either one should yeild you the lossless codec provided your receiver can handle it. There could be a setting called auto which would negotiate with the receiver and if the receiver decodes that signal it will bitstream the package to the receiver to decode the lossless codec otherwise the player should decode the lossless code into LPCM of PCM (same thing) and the receiver should light up with somethink like multichannel or PCM telling you it is receiving the signal that is being decoded by the player. Otherwise the receiver will usually have some indicator (some of them are very small tiny pictures) stating the codec it is receiving (DTS/DTS Master/Dolby digital/True-HD etc) but the main display may be showing the current Audio DSP (something like Dolby PlII X or Direct or something like that)
Hope that helps. Thanks, T

Looks like you will need to set your sony to bitstream the audio and have your receiver decode the DTS-HD-Master Audio as the player will only decode the DTS core as PCM and not the MA. But your receiver should be able to handle the DTS-MA bitsteam and decode it just fine. Your display on the receiver should indicate DTS-HD-Master (you may even be able to confirm by checking the status or info on the receiver durring playback)
Thanks, T
