The HD treatment of The Classic is already out there in Asia...just a matter of time they put it on blu-ray disc.

Oh forgot to mention kimchidvd shipped my order today (Silenced & Ima, Ai Ni Yukimasu/Be With You) are coming home, really excited about both releases and can't wait for them to arrive

Got my copy of Silenced today.

It comes with a little inserted card with a message from the director, much like The Man from Nowhere.

haha, i was being lazy and just took a quick shot with my phone

It came with the slip, i just took it off to take the pic of the autograph. I actually like this pic better than the one on the slip.

Going to finally watch Sunny tonight, keeping my expectations grounded but I hope it's atleast a half decent movie especially after my last blind buy was such a disappointment.

Well just got finished watching it and I must say it's one of the best Korean movies i've seen in the last two years, I feel generally the quality of movies coming out of korea has declined quite a lot but this movie felt like a throwback to the 2000-2005 time when Korean Cinema was really on top of it's game.

Stuff like Man From Nowhere, I Saw The Devil and The Chaser have all been top quality movies but something like Sunny where it doesn't rely on a big budget or lots of action especially with it's rather female orientated story I thought wouldn't really be anything that i'd enjoy but it really did manage to surpass my expectations, while not a perfect film it was a very good one and definitely one of the better CJ releases, the only one's i'd rate higher are A Moment To Remember, Memories Of Murder and TGTBTW i'd put it about evens with A Dirty Carnival (a movie I rate highly)

Overall i'm glad I eventually picked this one up, it really removed a lot of the bad taste I had from blind buying The King And The Clown and The Unjust.

Did you watch quick? I would stay away from that one.

I just saw arrows and blades of blood. Arrows was pretty good. Blades of blood not so much.
