Damn, Hardcore is a real pain. I'm still stuck at Chapter 6. Guess I should of saved at Chapter 9.

Edit: Well, after dying about 4 times today, I finally made it Chapter 9 again and decided to save I wanted to make it to Chapter 10 but after going back to Chapter 6 so many times, I said screw it. And apparently it only takes 3 hours to get to Chapter 9, but it turns out way longer when you die a lot.

Made it to Chapter 13 and used my final save! Only two more chapters I'm only really only worried about that last boss fight. I remember it being a pain.

Ha, not yet but I was starting to get a little upset. And now I see why you were worried about the Eye machine. I just did that part and totally screwed up. I never had trouble with it before. I didn't even know Isaac could die, but his eye just wouldn't stay still. So, back to Chapter 13 again.

I can't remember what level it was but how was the part when your on the big drill machine? I'm not looking forward to that part either!

That was the part right before Chapter 13. I was a little nervous, since it said I should save after that part, but it actually wasn't as bad as I remember. If you have the Contact Beam, nothing will even get close to you. The only troublesome part is the Lurkers that are on the side shooting at you.

I'm about to make it to the Eye Machine again. I hope I don't screw up again!

Dead Space 2 Platinum!

So, here's a tip. I just found this out at the end of the game and wish I had known sooner. Use the Javelin fully upgraded and you can just destroy everything with it's alt fire. I watched a video of a guy playing the last chapter and that was all he used. So, I respeced my guns fully upgraded the Javelin and I just ran through Chapter 14 like nothing, and beat the boss in under a minute.

Thanks. You'll be able to do it. You really don't have to sit for long either... if you don't die that is. I saved at Chapters 6, 9, and 13. It's hard to say how you should save though, I just saved right before the tough parts, mostly. But I suggest saving before the Eye Machine, otherwise you have to do the whole chapter over again and it has some tough parts. I didn't even use the Javelin until the last chapter, so if you have that early on, you can breeze through I'm sure. Good luck!
