I watched this DVD a few nights ago. I'd never seen the film and I liked it. Despite being 40 years old, it doesn't really feel dated. It's still quite powerful. Also, the acting from Oliver Reed and Vanessa Redgrave was much better than I expected. This might make a nice double feature with "The Baby of Macon.".

I just bought this dvd and I can't get the subtitles to come off. I go to SET UP and turn off but they won't.
