Ps3 Netflix help - Blu-ray Forum

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help

All of a sudden my Netflix will not work on my ps3. It loads the. The screen just goes black. Everything else on the system seems to be working fine. Last night I was having what seemed to be connection issues and now today nothing. Netflix still works on my iPhone and Mac and the only thing different I've done to my ps3 was update the date and time (via Internet) so that it was correct because it wasn't. Once again thanks in advance. I've been reading these boards and been a big fan of this site for a long time now.

I would try removing the Netflix software and redownloading it from the Playstation Store.

I was having trouble with mine, not a black screen though it just kept asking me to log in to the PS Network and it wasn't doing it successfully. It was because the latest update had a new license agreement it wanted me to sign off on. Don't know if maybe something like that might be interfering with Netflix?

This is a long shot, but when the app first launched I was having issues because my router had a feature called securespot. It may just be d-link routers which have this feature. In a recent firmware update this feature was enabled by default. Turning it off resolved my problems.

Hey all

I am frustrated beyond belief.

I Signed back up for Netflix and when I choose to stream on my PS3 it wont load.

Example: I choose the title I want to watch and when it loads on the black screen, the red loading bar either freezes at one point or another.

I've tried deleting and redownloading the app with no improved success. I always have to manually reset the system since the ps3 home menu won't execute the options I choose.

Pls lmk if there is something that can be done. Thx
