I was definitiely going to see it in 3D, I want to see it in IMAX, but the closest IMAX theater is an hour away. Might make the trip anyway.

This TV spot is a few days old. The first scene is new, as well as the dialogue at the end.

Yeah, but it's still early. I'll wait for judgement until I see actual reviews pop up. Still...my hopes are high! Can't wait!

Everyone agrees that the movie is best seen on the IMAX screen. Imax aka the last remaining movie screens that are large like the movie screens as the old days and sometimes even larger. Yeah, it's nice to have a real cinema experience for a change rather than forced to watch movies in 3D, with crummy sound, with poor projection, or on small screens.

even going off of the previews he takes his GODDAMN MASK OFF TOO MUCH. Why is it that Sony just cant let the character keep his mask on when he's Spider-Man?? We know who's playing him! He doesn't need face time when he's in costume! So damn annoying.

No synopsis for Big Tits Zombie.

(don't think it needs one, fellas. Pretty self explanatory.)

Not watching any more commercials.

So, is this not up for IMAX pre-sale yet? Why is Dark Knight but not this?

I love it too! It looks like a Todd McFarlane pose.

I saw The Amazing Spider-Man yesterday. I laughed my ass off. The effects looked sooooo cheap, the acting was wooden as hell, the costume looked like a bad kid's costume and the music was funky 70s style. It was only 90 minutes long.

Btw, I'm talking about this movie right here

[Show spoiler]The 1977 Version

Now let's see how well Raimi's version holds up after 10 years. Loved it back in 2002.

But how does it compare to this version:

Spidey using guns, fighting giant robots & monsters, and overall insanity that could only come from Japan!

OMG those Japanese are insane hahaha.

Just finished Raimi's Spider-Man and I gotta say: it's cheesy, but damn, I still love it. Extremely entertaining, great music, effects don't look too dated, and the cast does pretty well. I think it holds up very well. Now, I'm pumped for the new Garfield movie

4/5 stars for Raimi's flick.

It is cheesy, but still a good film. The only thing I don't really like is how dull it seems. The colors, the lighting. None of that stands out, which is why I think it has dated a bit. I've seen all 3 films probably 50 times a piece if not more, and it's getting harder to watch the first because I think it's becoming more and more dated. The second I could watch all day everyday still because of how incredible the film itself is and even thought the third is the worst film of the 3, I only watch it because it is very good visually, and the colors seem much better.
