Bringing back my old thread before the crash...

Warner will be releasing Romeo Must Die on Blu-ray on August 14th. All other release details are currently unannounced.

I for one can't wait for this release. It's one of the last of my shrinking DVD collection that I have been waiting on. It's been quite a while since I've watched my DVD of this, so it'll be a nice bonus when this comes out.

I also hope Warner ports all of the special features from the DVD, including the music videos.

I'm excited for it as well. I hope for HD music videos too but that's doubtful.

Aaliyah showed a lot of promise with this film. Unfortunately fate had different plans for her.

It would have been great to see her in "Sparkle" too. It was in development hell for years and she was once attached to the project, cast in the role Jordin Sparks is playing.

Given that they aren't new music videos, I think there is no chance at all of them being in HD. As long as they aren't absolutely horrible quality, I'll be fine.

I did like her in this movie as well.

I'm getting a little concerned that we have yet to get any formal announcement in regards to special features and such since this is supposed to be released in only 9 days.

Didn't even realize this and Cradle 2 The Grave were coming out. I love the intro in this movie

I can't find it in Store, but I'm considering ordering it online really soon.

That movie is my favorite one with Jet Li and, of course, Aaliyah. I only saw it in Theaters, never had it on DVD, but I can't wait to see it again. I remember the music was really good, and I loved the story and the martial arts scenes.

Is anyone out there who bought it can say if we get any special features or how is thePQ/AQ?

Wondering the same thing myself since no information came out about this at all, which is odd. I know this isn't something that would have gotten a lot of fanfare, but I still would have expected a press release of some sort with cover art and specs.

cradle had a killer soundtrack!!!

i'm pretty sure me & my buddies went to see both of these in the theater!!! we actually geeked out quite a bit when we saw Anthony Anderson wearing a NO LIMIT Records jersey!!

ahh....memories. to be 16 again!!

lol, I remember skipping Biology class at the end of the day so I could go see "Romeo Must Die" in the theaters my senior year. ahhhh, good times. my copy of RMD is in the mail from Columbia House and I'm waiting on a cheap price for Cradle since it was a fairly week Jet Li movie.
