Would you like to play a game?
I'm in for this at $10. I'll wait for it to hit that price point.

about freakin' time!
now if they'd just release the manhattan project on blu it would make a sweet day of "80s teen almost blows us all up" movies.
disney films that need to be on blu-ray:
the adventures of ichabod and mr. toad | treasure island | 20,000 leagues under the sea | old yeller | darby o'gill and the little people | pollyanna | swiss family robinson | the absent-minded professor | big red | mary poppins | the world's greatest athlete |

I'm a huge fan of this movie and was thrilled to hear of its impending release. I truly believe this is one of the most undervalued films of the 1980s, and I'm excited to finally be getting a hi-def version to stand alongside my VHS copy autographed by director John Badham.
Shut up and go watch The Wire.

Most Excellent. Here's hoping that a good print is used for the transfer. I'm not expecting reference material quality with this film- obviously- but Christ Almighty... exercise some restraint in the mastering process. Don't bullocks it up in post with excessive NR or Edge Enhancement. It's simply not appealing to look at.
Also... Ally Sheedy was a fricking cutie in this film. nuff said. |

Sure seems rather dated with the advancement of home computers, but this film is still loads of fun.
I remember having a green monochrome screen computer for work. LOL, those were the days.

Matthew Broadrick is SUCH a talented guy and great actor. But have you ever seen him in an interview? I saw him co-host LIVE with Kelly Rippa, and I must admit, he has NO personality. Very AWKWARD in person.
I LOVE all his performances, I'm a big fan....but this poor guy is no good unless he has a script and a character to play.

I cannot pass this one up, pre-order is placed. I now need Explorers and Bill and Ted's to come through. Maybe also The Burbs.
