Blu-ray Samurai

It's one of the best zombie and horrorfilms ever made. It's a cult classic. Everyone loves it, and Mindy Clarke is without a doubt the hottest zombie chick of all time. Having said this, it's time for a Blu-ray release. The DVD is crap since it only contains the butchered R-rated version. We need the unrated director's cut on Blu-ray...now!!! Who's with me?

Man, I just re-watched my old german DVD. The quality's horrible. The source must have been a crappy VHS copy lol. But it's the full uncut version, so I'm okay with that for now. Sure, the movie screams: I'm low budget, I'm cheesy, I'm the definition of a B-Movie, but all that just adds to its charme. Loved this movie many years ago and today, it's still no different. Great flick!

I sure Lionsgate owns the rights to this. When they do release it, it better come with the unrated version of the movie that was only available on VHS.
This is one of those movies I was drawn to by the cover art. When I was a youngin (9) I would ask my parents every time we went to the video store to let my rent this but they never did. I finally saw it when I was 12. On ROTLD 2. Its up to Warner to release it but be warned-like the DVD the blu WILL come with the new soundtrack. NOT the original from the theatrical version or VHS. I could give two sh*ts about ROTLD 4 and 5. |

I would get a blu-ray box set of all 3 films if it was priced under 40 bucks.
I remember the one with those 2 guys that are in pain most of the film. and in the end of the film one of them craws into a furnace.

That would be great but MGM need the money and WB is to stupid to know what great movies they have in their back catalog. Lionsgate also has a deep horror back catalog that they got when they took over Artisan and Live.

Easily one of my favorite zombie films. Very much a favorite of mine far over the first two in the series. I would pick this title up day one, unrated or otherwise. Obviously I would prefer unrated, but I'm desperate here.
In other news, I'm very happy that Re-Animator is just around the corner. |
