Oppo BDP-95 Region-Free Modification

Has anyone purchased a region-free modification kit for the BDP-95 and, if so, can you advise how it has worked out? I'm thinking of getting one so that I can purchase the R2 Double Indemnity, but want to make sure that it works and that it's safe.

OPPO 93/95 Region Free

I have a 93 and this inexpensive kit works very well for me. it should be the same sequence for the 95. I like the fact that it's external and I don't have to open the machine at all which decreases any possible warranty violation, makes it immediately reversible, incredibly simple, and so far flawless in use.

Make sure you have the current firmware, Unplug OPPO, Plug in the RS232 port, plug in the USB, re-attach Main power cord, turn on machine. Immediately DVD Region Free

Easy remote codes to make Bluray Region specific.

The only downside is you have to cycle the power each time to change region and back again.
