That list might be more appropriate because it should be up to date and includes the 15/70 mm tag on the end for true IMAX theatres worldwide.

I've read that the Imax in the Printworks is the only real Imax screen that Odeon has in the UK. They showed the prologue of "The Dark Knight Rises" there before "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol". And that was only shown on the 70mm projectors. So I'd still go ahead with your trip. I've seen a few films there myself and have never been disappointed.

Yeah, the Printworks IMAX is a true version. The other version isn't.

Interesting, because it even says that Cineplex has confirmed that many of their theatres will be digital, but I have personal confirmation from management/ technicians (actually a few techs, who have worked for IMAX in the past, will be running the booth for those shows) who oversee those theatres that the local ones (which ARE on Warners list but not on the link) will be going back to 15/70.

Anyone in NYC, which is the best/better LIEMAX around? Union Square 14? Kips Bay 15? (top/bottom cutoff?)

Out of curiosity (), why are you curious when those theatres are so close to Lincoln Sqaure? There's even a subway stop right in front of the theater...

Fake IMAX is digital IMAX. The "real" IMAX is the 15/70 film version.

What about the 1.43:1 exhibitions in IMAX Laser? I'd consider the "real" IMAX exhibitions to be the ones with the 1.4 aspect ratio.

Would I get in trouble with the theaters if I took pictures of their IMAX/RPX Screens that is not showing an ad/trailer/movie and just of the screen itself to show how "big it is" compared to others? In my experience, I have access to two Regal Cinemas. One that has Digital IMAX and one with RPX. The RPX seems taller, but the Digital IMAX screen is wider and curved. I do have access to a real IMAX screen at a museum and that thing is taller and fits the specs of an actual IMAX screen. The RPX audio seems to not be as loud as the Digital IMAX or real IMAX audio.

One manager already confessed that they purposely run the audio at full levels on the trailers but crank it down for the movie so to save on maintenance. Can't report audio issues without proof as getting that proof involves recording audio which is not allowed.
