Default JBL LC1 3-Way speaker (centre)

I just purchased 3 of these for an insane price. And want to know is it fine to make them vertical as frontstage LCR?

Will the dispersion and all of that be as clear as a natively vertical bookshelf from JBL?

I couldn't pass up the price of under 100$ per speaker when these are going for minimum 250 on amazon.

Was thinking about picking one of those up for my stepdad to go with his mains. Can they still be had for that price? Online hopefully.

Seems fishy. Seller reviews all had the exact same broken English. Thank you though. My order 1 and see what happens.

Could be fishy, but if so I will put in a claim I spent less than 100$ on the chance its legit. All good with me.

That has to be the deal of the year.

$13??

For $13 I would’ve bought them out, waited for a month and then sold them all on ebay starting @ $20 and just watch the prices skyrocket!!!

Unfulfilled misprice of the year at least. Can't say I blame them for cancelling though, can't make much money selling them for 13$ with free shipping.

I am disputing it. I am claiming this is false advertising to drum up hits to their seller page.

You cannot do that in an online system and just reneg.

Anyone who doesn't dispute this is silly.

Two people (on another forum) bought this speaker. One got the story that the price was for the PAC LC2 Level Controller, not the JBL product on the Amazon listing. The other is claiming that his speaker was shipped at the $13.23 price.

Would you mind PM me the forum thread which has those claims?

I got the line that it was meant to be some other product. I bet in reality it wasnt and they had to give a certain amount before it got fiscally bad.

I ordered 7 in total, 2 seperate orders so I was one of the dozens probably categorized as "a bridge too far"

=====

I complained to amazon and so far just their usual schlock..Third party seller blah blah blah. Next I'll try light a fire under the seller that if they don't come through, ill be reporting them to amazon.

I know its cheap to go after 7 speakers of this caliber for under 100$ but its their fault, not mine. In B+M retail if there is a mis-marking the price must be honored - its part of business ethics.

Because of this thread I ordered one to test but it got cancelled. Same story above that the controller was the $13 part being sold. Too lazy to dispute.
