I actually don't have a copy of Ultraviolet. I used to way back, but I got rid of it. I'd actually probably watch it again just for her, but oh well.

G-Force is the one I own. I'll admit that it's not that good of a movie, but I still find it to be silly fun. Plus, I only paid about $3 or $4 for it after coupons and discounts on release day, so I've already gotten more than my money's worth out of it.

Hells yeah, that's my favorite silent film (top 100 material )! In fact, just yesterday I picked up the US copy and the Giorgio Moroder version, and put them both in the UK steelbook. Haven't seen the GM version yet, so I might have to check it out soon...

Sometimes, bad movies find me!

Seriously though, some of those were bad blind-buys, some were curiosity/novelty pieces (in which case, yeah I sought them out, but usually looking for the "so bad they're good" kind of movies for comedic effect ), others were just on TV and I found myself sucked into it, and others were my parents' choice.

The list altogether covers about ten years or so of film-watching. In that time, I would have seen approximately ten or more bad movies a year...which isn't too bad.

And once I start a movie, I try my best to finish it, even if it is terrible...

Oops, I got them mixed up.

$4 for any Blu-Ray is worthwhile indeed.

I am kinda interested in seeing these others (and yeah, I need to get around to seeing some MST3K).
Add Catwoman to my list. I forgot to include that steaming pile of turd.

Legend of Chun Li was terrible. Worse than the original, imo. And Chris Klein...

From those I mentioned, I'd recommend The Room, Birdemic, and Space Mutiny. Those are the most fun. The rest are just plain bad.

Prometheus

Second Round of Penis Snakes

A few thoughts here and there, as I shouldn't really need to re-write a whole review and I've drank and partied since watching again:

Enjoyed it a tad more this time since I went in a bit more open minded.
2D is easily the better way to watch it, really could respect how beautiful this film looks.
My friend had his eyes shut during the
[Show spoiler]c-section
part, he only opened his eyes for brief second to see the
[Show spoiler]Squid get pulled out
.
Millburn is a biologist, which explains why he's interested in the
[Show spoiler]penis snake
, but it goes against his avoidance of dead bodies or the fact that the
[Show spoiler]penis snake gives a warning hiss to back away
, but, you know, these scientists are notoriously silly
The whole Vickers and Peter Weyland
[Show spoiler]father
thing explains a lot of things she says and does in the first two acts of the film, which adds slight more impact and doesn't completely waste her character.
Fassbender and Elba are still bosses of this film

Score still stands however, I would of thought Bearcat and Squid would be planning to see the film since they like Alien and it's got the writer of Lost behind it

8/10

Oh yeah, my boss brought up "Catwoman." He confirmed it was terrible, but he liked it anyway. So I figured it might be up my alley.

"Eraserhead"

Okay, so far this film looks really stylish and...OH MY FRAKKING GOD WHAT THE FRAKK IS GOING ON?!!! YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! WTF?!! JEEZ! HOLY CRAP WHAT IS THIS?! WHO WOULD EVER COME UP WITH THIS STUFF?! I'M ALL CONFUSED! WHAT THE FRAKK?!!!

4.5/5 (Entertainment: Good | Story: ?! | Film: Very Good)

This Blu-Ray looks exquisite, with impeccible details and sharpness. Only a few soft scenes marr the video presentation, but most of the film is sharp, clean, and clear. Contrast levels are mostly great; a few scenes show a lot of grayness, but I suspect it's done purposefully. Sound quality had some crackling and rumbling, as if it was too overdriven toward the beginning. Afterward, it was pretty clear; still wouldn't call it mind-bogglingly great, but enough to be unnerving.

PQ: 4.5/5, AQ: 4/5

This Blu-Ray is Region-B locked.

Now if you'll excuse me, the mutant baby's spitting blood and crying again. I gotta feed it before the planet comes back with the pimple-faced man inside. Damn, the woman in the radiator started singing and dancing again...

I'm not. I never expected it to be. I wanted to watch the first two before I saw Prometheus only to be able to see any connections between this and Alien. It also probably helped to get the tone, but again, I'm treating Prometheus as a spin-off when I see it on Saturday.

The Karate Kid -1984

This is a classic film that brings me back to my childhood. I've always loved this film, as it has many memorable scenes. This one just holds a special place in my heart. It may not be the best film around, but it's a "comfort" film for me. Just awesome stuff from start to finish. Mr. Miyagi is the sh*t.

The Karate Kid part II - 1986

While not as strong as the first one, it's still a fun movie. Another classic.
