Reminds me of a mix between Darth Vader, Engineers from Prometheus, and the mask looks like the xenomorphs mouth.

I'm guessing it'll be the early Sunday showing?

Just a little thing I noticed in the last tv spot(euro cup),
[Show spoiler]is that you can see batman standing around in the brawl in front of the building, then from the trailer you can hear Blake ask Bane why he left, thought it was interesting.

I give Hardy props for not being a diva and insisting his mask stays on for most of the movie, unlike Spider Man.
Big Tits Zombie

-Action

No synopsis for Big Tits Zombie.

(don't think it needs one, fellas. Pretty self explanatory.)

I don't know how much this is worth, but I remember I saw The Dark Knight the day it came out at the 12:45 show (around that time, I may be a couple of minutes short or over) and the theater was relativity packed but not shoulder to shoulder pack. That probably having to do with the time of the showing. Anyways, I saw the film a second time the next weekend on that Saturday and the theater was packed (at around a 4p.m. show). So unless you're talking about not going to the theaters opening weekend to prevent going into a midnight showing type environment, it will most likely be just as pack that Sunday. Maybe not shoulder to shoulder, but I can only assume close. Unless you go to a real early or late show.

Height doesn't always play into intimidation. There are plenty of intimidating men with Napoleon complexes that even significantly taller females pick up on, yet alone taller men. Not to mention that I've had the pleasure of attending a couple of NCAA Basketball games and not one of the players up close intimidates me at all. 6'4-7'0ish is nothing if you're as lean as a high school freshmen.

Hardy has been shown without his mask? Is this supposed to be while he's in Santa Prisca?

Tom Hardy played Bronson, right? Dude looks scarier without the mask.
Currently playing: Ni No Kuni, Halo 4, Borderlands 2

Looking Forward to: Tomb Raider, Bioshock: Infinite, the Last of Us

No joke. Some of those scenes made him look unapproachable. The mustache didn't help that well at times as well.

Your right, height alone doesn't factor into intimidation but i was specifically referring to how he looks in that picture. I meant that if in real life your approached by a guy as beefy as that but >6'4" you would definitely be intimidated.

He did cut a more imposing look but again, i just do say that all the same, height would definitely increase his intimidation. Take Mike Tyson for example. In person i would look at him and not at all have felt intimidated but then knowing what that guy could do to you would make you think twice about starting trouble with him.

Don't get me wrong, look factors significantly into it but would you be more indimidated by a version of the comic Bane like he is at >6'6" or the same looking guy at 4'4"? You know the correct answer

What will make Bane frightening is Hardy's performance...not his look.

C'mon guys, i'm not talking about the movie, i already mentioned IF in real life a guy dressed like that approached me with that sorta height i would probably chuckle.

In TDKR of course he'll come accross exactly like he should which is intimidating as hell and a really big threat, but obviously real life and movies rarely meet the same way when in settings like these.

I hope that clears up things a little.

My bad, I think I'd be intimidated in real life, coz any one that dresses like that is bound to be one crazy mofo.

I got what you were saying, but unfortunately that just seems to be a common view with many men, which is why I impulsively commented on it.

Or a hipster mofo, though annoying, in real life is about as scary as an orange cat who hates Mondays.

He doesn't look like a hipster at all, in anything he's done, I just think the regular type person who would wear that would be in the hipster variety. Kind of no different from a large amount of people (not all) who wear the Vietnam era military gear (bags, jackets, etc.). The jacket looks like something a commie might wear, which I think Nolan is trying to give that look a bit, and the pants just look like cargo pants with sewn in knee pads. No decently minded regular man would wear knee pads walking around, and I've only seen jackets like that being worn by heavily smoked, skinny hipster types.

Maybe a 13 year old airsoft player might find a catch in those clothes.

Then again I live in the South, so maybe there are cities where this may be more common. Los Angeles seems to have a weird bunch.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear enough. So yea, what I meant was I'm gonna wait a week after the movie is released to see it, which will be the second Sunday after release. I can only imagine how crazy and chaotic the crowd will be on the first Fri to Sun weekend, kinda like with the Avengers' opening weekend. I had to lined up for that one with 50 min before the movie started. I don't wanna do that again anytime soon lol. Anyways, looking forward to seeing this movie in IMAX for the very first time.

I don't like to line up either and the facebook post they made about being able to book seats was what got me up and there at 9am to book tickets for this. In fact, i would wager almost anything that i was one of the first people in the UK to book tickets to TDKR to a true IMAX cinema

I have an 8.20am showing to go to on the friday release and tbh i don't expect that many people to be there so i'm hoping theres not a massive que but i'm going by myself on opening day so i could easily nab into that awkward single seat people leave between themselves

On the saturday though i plan on going with friends and my brothers so my mate thinks we should que up from 10.45 for our 11.40am showing to get good seats and he is right to say that. So i'll be up early again and queing just so we can nab the seats right at the back and in the centre. Best in the house tbh. The cinemas seating is a bit poor in regards to how far back you can actually sit but the trade off is that it's a true IMAX and sitting right at the back of normal seating areas the best possible position there.

On the case of it being packed opening weekend and not much on the week after, i honestly think this movies still gonna draw a very strong crowd and ques even then. So there might be a slight hitch to waiting even a week.

If the movies as good as i hope, after my first friday morning showing, i'm going straight to the ticket booth to book a sunday showing as well. My first ever time i will have gone to a movie 3 times in 3 consecutive days in an IMAX

Oh, and then theres the regular showings in the local cinema but i still have another itch developing to go see Avengers in 2D again.
