I agree with your thinking about the Jaws digibook, A, but don't UK steelbooks have logos as well? The ones I've seen do.

Very rare now. Universal has some on their earlier ones as did Fox but it's not that common now. Of late it's mainly been Disney that's the big culprit. All the Universal steels have been 100% logo free since the start of last year that I can recall.

^ With any luck, then, Universal will do the same no-logo thing here with the Jaws digibook.

Unfortunately some of these collector's editions of late basically have a few printouts and maybe a piece of plastic. Sure it'd be nice if price was no object but space and money are at a bit of a premium so the films are the priority for me.

I'd support the local Jaws release too but considering it may have ratings logos I'm not so sure. I don't really think ratings logos and Digibooks go together so I'm running with the SteelBook.
Oh I meant for Titanic. I agree the Indianna Jones isn't that great for a CE, not much extra and dosnt justify the price at all.

Fair enough about the ratings logo, I reckon it won't have it (really looks like a sticker to me), but who knows

Man when I come back in August, I'm going to have so many to buy what a headache
WTB:
Standard Blu's: Finding Nemo (non 3D with slip), same for Brave. Cars 2 3D with all discs. Disney 3D releases (G-Force, Chicken Run, Little and Meet the Robinsons etc.). Beauty and the Beast Xmas with slip.

Have you got some inside info on the contents of the Indy CE, Nick? At the moment, Amazon is playing coy and gives no info but the price and a big "wait and see!" tease.

Watched: L.A. Confidential. I have loved this film since I first watched it many years ago, and it always gets better with each viewing, this one more so on the fact this is my first time seeing it high def.

Video is just fantastic, and the audio has a lot of pop, especially with the gun-fire, I tell you something, these Sherwood speakers are so unbelievably awesome when it comes to explosions and gun-fire.

I am interested in many subjects, and the L.A.P.D. and its corruption have long been a favourite of mine, of course corruption in police forces is world wide, but somehow the impact it made L.A. was bigger, probably more to do with the film industry I guess. I have a few in my L.A. Police stories collection:- L.A. Confidential, Changeling, & Street Kings. I can't wait to add Chinatown, & The Black Dahlia to that collection.
My Setup:- TV - Sony Bravia KDL-40V4000, Blu-ray Player - Sony BDP-S570, Amplifier - Yamaha HTR-6130, Speakers - Sherwood GSP-5110 5.1 Ch Speaker System.

So many quotes I could put here, but what to choose, can't put them all, so I put this instead.

Wanted: Slips for Lady & The Tramp, Pinocchio & Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

Ahh, pity, I was hoping you might have seen something in your travels.

But I do agree with you and atexp80 — I can't imagine it's going to have inclusions that (objectively speaking) justify an increase in the price by £20 or so. That said, having seen the Titanic LE drama unfold, I've placed a pre-order on the Indy CE, and will decide whether I want to spend the £54 or thereabouts on it (after VAT) once we see what's in the thing.

Check out Rampart - that was pretty good - but don't bother with The Black Dahlia, just read the book instead. The book was amazing, but the movie missed everything that made the story so compelling.

Judging by the website the run time is the same for the US and Aussie release, I wasn't aware that our versions had been cut. I am not sure of the extras as I am at work but I will try and post them this evening.

I will do that.

Although Black Dahlia was a little messy I still liked it, and I've never been able to read the book, so I am not entirely bothered, though I know I should be.

Nice!

Although Robin Hood: Men in Tights generally gets lumped at the bottom of the pile in terms of Brooks' most respected films I have to confess it's actually one of my favourites. The humour, the stupidity, not to mention Cary Elwes and the awesome Roger Rees (who I think it criminally under-rated).
