T-Roy has great taste!

I used to live in Taipei on a street up from a fashion/design college. Students were mostly young, fit females. In the morning, I'd leave for work and Felt like a starving wolf staring at a bunny freeway. They'd be getting off the the bus and walking to school; and I (with my impure thoughts) had to go to work. Luckily, my wife (then co-worker) was there for me to flirt with. Anyway, you would have loved it. And the college has a Starbucks right next to it. Great place to sit with a Chinese book and ask a cute girl who just happens to be sitting next to you, "Excuse me, how do I read this word?"

Sounds like a great time! I might even consider sacrificing my easy access to tasty Mexican restaurants just to live in a place like that!

It was nice. Got a story or two.

Kinda glad we moved out of Taipei after getting married. Not so many temptations here, but also not so much eye candy, or libido fuel as I called it.

We'll be out at my Parents' house for a Father's Day/Troy's Birthday picnic later this afternoon, it'll just be the five of us. We're getting a bucket of fried chicken from the local Twin Kiss restaurant - They have awesome tasting chicken there, way better flavor than KFC...

I was outside at 8:00am this morning finishing up the two lofts I built inside my new shed - I screwed down all of the plywood sheeting with drywall screws... even that early, I was sweating up a storm by the time I was finished...

So here's a few pics of my fruits of hard labor this weekend... all that stuff in the shed right now is from my basement closets I had to empty out from the flood last fall, looking forward to finally getting it sorted through and either thrown away or reboxed...

I mostly use tools from the "Yard Sale Specials" line...

That miter saw you see in the first two photos I bought for $10, and I got a 7" table saw from another yard sale for $20...

Hmm... Well, I AM in need of a good quality battery-powered drill/driver, my 10-year old 18V NMH DeWalt drill I currently have has a failed clutch on it, and I haven't yet tore it apart to see what exactly it needs or if parts are even available to repair it anymore...

Hey Dan... Been super busy at work and home the last couple days, haven't had much forum time at all... I hope to pickup more lumber at Lowe's tonight to build my ramp for the shed this weekend - after the heat wave the next few days is over...
