It's definitely locked. I've owned the UK set and now own the US set. Season 4 is locked in both sets and if I remember correctly season three may have been locked in the US one (been a while since I checked it though!). All other seasons in the respective sets are region free.

It sucks that the UK sets contain a few edited episodes that were aired in the UK and does not contain the versions shown in the US. That included the Lost Finale episode!

Never knew that. I watched every episode as it aired in the states and when I got around to watching the BDs never noticed any differences. They must have been pretty small? Is theree a link that lists the changes?

It was somewhere on the Lostpedia website also someone mentioned it on this thread before the premium set was released.

I too watched the US episodes but never noticed the differences.
Apparently it was not cut but edited due to advert timing and the fact in the UK it was classed as 2 epi

i having trouble playing season 1 disc 1 of my uk lost collection on my oppo bdp-83.
all the menus are displaying in chinese?

if i put it in my bdp-80 it gives me language menu at the start but not on my 83
all setting are correct on the 83 etc.

its like its defaulting to chinese
anyone else have this problem

So, i guess i will just have to set my player to Region B to get the English menu on all the seasons. Weird.

u can get the boxset for £45 now, amazing price.

i paid £60 for mine, all 6 seasons individual with slipcovers from zavvi not long ago

HMV are by far the cheapest at the moment otherwise go for a Amazon Marketplace seller you trust or has decent reviews.

Do you have an aversion to HMV? Amazon will probably re-stock it in the next few weeks.
