What's the price? I have Prime. Is there a way for me to get the Gold Box deal?

Currently $19.90 each. What I did was, I simply added both titles to shopping cart and kept them in "saved for later", that's it.

Hey everyone, for some reason I can't create a new thread so here is my question. I bought a region A Blu ray player the LG BD640 to play the new Scream factory Halloween films and having trouble picking the correct voltage adapter. Any help?

Yes it did! I mean... what is that all about!? Just listen to H3's score and use that as a starting grown. That music was soooo awful and distracting. I only liked the very end when she cut his head off, that music was right but we're getting off topic. what were we all talking about?

Where did you purchase it from?

LG claims the player is 120V/60Hz only.

Unless it has been modified, at a minimum you'd want a power transformer to step down the voltage from 230V to 120V and a plug adapter. This won't change the frequency though so you'll still be supplying 50Hz to the player.

Hey I'm from NI also. Glad to see a fellow HIII fan from my doorstep. Anyway, will a standard kettle lead not do? I got a Toshiba BDX3200 for the HIII release. It was £70 and plays Region A titles beautifully. And its 3D.

No, unless the player is specifically designed for dual voltage/frequency then a standard kettle lead will not be sufficient. Plugging electronic equipment rated for 120V directly into 230V would fry the electronics.

According to the manufacturer the LG BD640 only support 120V/60Hz. Some equipment has been found to be dual voltage but not advertised as such, such as some Samsung players and televisions. However, the only way to tell is to look inside the player to see if it states 120/240V 50/60Hz or to see if someone with the same player has successfully used it in a 230/240V country.

EDIT: Did the OP buy a code free player but he specifically mentioned Region A which leads me to believe it's an unmodified player. Some of the LG BD640 have been modified to be code free and dual voltage. In that case then a standard kettle cord would work.

This film needs an alternate cut really bad. It would probably improve the film two fold.

I agree. Seeing clips of Halloween H2O with the Ottman score improve the quality right there. Also, if they redo the CG mask with today's technology, it wouldn't stand out so bad in those certain shots.

I went to preorder these this morning and realized the price for both parts II and III have gone up to $26.xx each . I know they will probably drop before release day, I just hate when Amazon ups the price so much - it makes me want to just wait and see...

I am going to get the Blu-rays of Halloween II, III, and 4. Part 5 depends on Wal-Mart's price.

Movies On Demand. It's not a big printing, but burned on a DVD-R with artwork. You can't get these in stores, but sometimes on Amazon.

Ohhhh, i understand now thank you. The movie was on a couple weeks ago on AMC HD i think. I figured it was at least released in the stores on dvd. I see its available online dvd-r with artwork. I wanted to know if there was any word on this coming to dvd or bluray for an official release. Soon or in the future perhaps. Might have to just get the dvd-r if not.
