The German releases were not affected.

Lord knows, they re-released them enough times.

I'd only buy this if it's BD50, all film grain left in, original theatrical monoaural track in full lossless and every single feature from the Special Edition DVD ported over including more extra features. IDGAF about remixes.
Also waiting for TRUE LIES, which was Camerons last great movie. His two afterwards I don't care about and would never own. TERMINATOR 2: Judgment Day I'll have to import from Japan because the Skynet Edition is DNR'ed to hell and back.
GO DRAGONS!
Beneficiary for film grain. Importer supporter.
Anti-Avatar/Digital Copy/excessive DNR/EE/Apple/Mac/Wal-Mart/John Wayne.
Working on rebuys. Every 10 or so, I'll buy a couple titles I've never owned on the format.
Proud to be a S.T.A.L.K.E.R and fan of The Doctor. All official ones.

France - Sep.5
Germany - Aug.31
UK - Sep.3

I never said they were. I said that the Euro editions were affected. Just thought I'd point out that lossless going missing - as could be the case with the German version of Terminator - isn't unheard of.

Perhaps it's a typo for 5.1 or they list it in reverse?

Don't get yourself carried away. Jk!

I'm surprised MGM, Lionsgate, and Warner came to an agreement to release this set. Incidentally, is there any word if the remastered edition of the first film will be available to own seperately?

This will probably be like the Stanley Kubrick box set.. Where Warner just got permission to use the same discs from the original releases of Sony's Dr. Strangelove and Universal's Spartacus in their box set. I don't own this box set, but I am pretty sure that they were just the same discs from the original releases of those two movies.

For a studio that reuses the same discs without any changes whatsoever in so many instances when they release digibooks, don't get your hopes up that this set will contain anything new.. Other than the new improved release of the first Terminator, which will its own release sooner or later anyway.
