It happens every year, i feel less than enthusiastic about theater going the first half + of the year, then I fall in love with the cinema in Oct-Dec. The tail end of the last two years was a blast.

Same here kinda. The second half of the year is usually has the best movies, and especially this year with The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Great Gatsby, and Django Unchained. Also will be going to The Amazing Spiderman, The Dark Knight Rises Marathon, The Bourne Legacy, World War Z, and Les Miserables

Btw World War Z comes out next year I believe. Another Tom Cruise movie took it's place.

World War Z is looking to be a bit of a mess, delayed to next year for extensive reshoots and Damon Lindeloff signed on to re-write the entire final third to give it more closure, which is kinda like offering to drink cow piss to prove you're sober.

2012 has been a great year so far in my opinion for movies. Just saw Safety Not Guaranteed last night and it was fantastic. One of my favorite films of the year. Best movies I've seen so far (no particular order).
