Bought the Fantastic 4 double pack and the Night/Day watch double pack from JB today. $14.98 each - couldn't leave them there at that price.

Bought:

Hell on Wheels S1
The Walking Dead S2

Yep I can confirm the walking dead s2 has NO HD audio, is barebones and is 2 discs and I had a quick flick and the video quality is very average, still better than DVD but not what you expect from a Blu in 2012, especially considering season 1 had HD audio and better picture quality.
I can handle the complete lack of extras, but they should of at least spread the episodes out over 4-5 discs to give the picture room to breath and add a HD audio option......
Oh well, the show makes up for it Spilt milk..

Pretty stoked, got a dozen last week, and another dozen today.

I am going through my DVD collection and turning my Blu-rays into Dual Format editions, plus on some, even the second disc from the 'collectors editions' lol
Great minds think alike.

I recently started thinking about custom-making my own "ultimate editions", especially since some DVDs have more extras than their BD counterpart (in the case of From Hell, I just needed to shove the second disc from the special edition into the case for all extras). And I have a number of Region A discs which I can only play at home, thus the DVD is good while on the go.

Surprised you had to pay for everything though. Across two video stores I've amassed a huge collection of inner disc trays, some for two discs and some for one. At another video store they freely gave me 10+ Blu-ray cases, some of which already have inner trays in them. A few have the capacity for two inner trays.

I paid for none of the trays or cases

I used this place from Denmark, got the link from the US thread on this forum, others had ordered and didn't have any problems so I couldn't resist any longer. It took about 2 days to ship, but only 8 days to recieve it. Cost about $44 shipped and I just use google toolbar to translate.

Thanks!!

What are the extras like? Obviously MI3 is barebones, but do the other MI films have the complete extras package?

And the lossless audio.. It's good, right?

I have just checked the case and the approx film running time (so I assume they mean episodes themselves) is 10hr 30mins which equals 630mins, which is 20 mins more than the approx US run-time (strange).

The extras listed on the back are
- 21 Episodes of inside Breaking Bad: A look behind the scenes of what it takes to create each episode.
- Deleted scenes
- Extended & alternate scenes
- Gag reel
- Better call Saul commercials
- Behind the scenes featurettes

It states over 2 hours of extras where the US version has over 15 hours incl commentaries.

So not sure if this actually answers your question.

I put it on for 5 minutes earlier to double check if it only contains the extended cut like the U.S version, or if it has both cuts on the disc. Unfortunately like I expected it only contains the extended cut. So it looks like I'll be keeping my Canadian disc so I have both versions. The brief amount of time I did watch it for, I found the P/AQ to be pretty good. Though I'll probably watch it in full over the next few days, so I'll let you know what I think after that.

^ Cheers

Watched: Deadwood Season 3 Episodes 7-10. Almost at the end. A shame Milch didn't get to do more as I always feel that another season or two would have really played out well.

Haven't had time to check out the audio . Yeah MI 3 only has commentary with JJ and Crusie, but here's whats on the other 2,
MI 1
mission remarkable- 40 years of creating the impossible
mission- explosive exploits
mission- spies among us
mission- catching the train
mission- international spy museum
mission- agent dossiers
excelence in film- cruise
generation- cruise
photo gallery
2 HD trailers

MI 2
commentary- John Woo
behind the mission
mission incredible
impossible shots
metalica music video
alternate title sequence
excellence in film- cruise
generation- cruise

So the set is only missing that 2nd disc from MI 3

Quick question guys. I hav a few amazon orders that for some reason took their time to be delivered (very strange since I chose expedited) and I fear no-one will be home when the guy comes to deliver. I have a neighbor who can get parcels and mail left behind but if they have to be signed for (for whatever reason) what happens. I can't ask anyone to pick it from the office since they need my drivers license, can I call them or email to allow them to hold it till I come back home.?
WTB:
Standard Blu's: Finding Nemo (non 3D with slip), same for Brave. Cars 2 3D with all discs. Disney 3D releases (G-Force, Chicken Run, Little and Meet the Robinsons etc.). Beauty and the Beast Xmas with slip.

Well, Deep Discount have delivered again. Received 21 Jump Street and The Artist this morning. They only shipped on the 14th. Very happy once again.

I'm glad I went with the US version of The Artist. The slip cover is cool how it opens up and the cover art is much better than the UK version, it's kind of like this silver foil material.

My Big W online order came at the same time so I'm stoked because I have the day off as well
