My #1 supplier of Criterion for many years is gone... Sad day... Suggestions where I should move from here?

Sad to see them go.
I used them twice (got the first edition CAD Batman Begins steelbook, and FS Dark Knight steelbook from PlanetAxel), and they were brilliant on both occasions. RIP indeed.

Wow, well this sucks. I've used them plenty and never had a issue. They were a good alternative to Amazon with occasional bargains. I'll always have a soft spot for them because they gave me The Protector aka Warrior King on BD for free through there reward points.

Loved Planet Axel, shame my last experience with them wasn't that great. They could have packaged things better. But their prices were reasonable and it was good knowing what I buy wouldn't be hit with customs.

I could never really get over the "accept minor dent in steelbooks" thing.
Still, sad to see them go.

It was pretty annoying but over the last 2 months they scrapped that and postage costs, too little too take though.

A real shame, I didn't particularly like their recent price structuring but their service was excellent, and the prices competitive. I always rated the packaging, though I didn't buy SB's.
Amazon.com only from now on, other websites offering zero duties etc just look low quality and don't give confidence that they're a proper retailer. Wish everyone at PlanetAxel luck for the future, maybe they'll be back under another guise some day. |

I try to order from Amazon.com with the deposit fee bit, but it doesn't seem to say anything about that. What shipping option do i have to pick for it to pop up?
Now that Axel is gone i have to look into more "drastic measures..." |
