This sucks a.. Big time.

Now what???

Anyone has a good alternative for international customers?
And with good i mean:
- competitive prices, comparable to amazon
- no total order values on the packages, or if so, then a lower amount
- most titles available for ordering, not only the latest releases.
- trustworthy, and good customer service.

Alright, I'm gonna bump this thread cause I hate making new ones.

I live in the Netherlands but don't feel like paying €20 for customs on the Game of Thrones S2 set. (I want the US version since the packaging is way nicer than the Europian versions). So, what online store ships US releases from the EU and isn't extremely expensive?

I only just found out PlanetAxel went bankrupt, so I'm looking for an alternative.

You only just found out? Man... Seems like you haven't ordered for a looooong time
I'm confused, because it looks like packaging is the same for both the UK and US. And the Amazon UK edition has an exclusive bonus disc too.
Anyway, since Planetaxel died, I've been ordering in several ways.
hdmoviesource.com is not too bad, and they can get you other great stuff too, if you ask for it, like Best Buy exclusive stuff.
They're a bit more expensive, but generally not too much, if you buy an subscription for their site. They're friendly, and will not put a high dollar amount on your package, if you mention that.
I live in The Netherlands too (hallo daar), so I was also very particular about that. Otherwise, when I order single, or double-disc sets, I check around on Amazon UK, where numerous trusted sellers like Moviemars and Allyourmusic and the like, sell US stuff. Most of the time they have the same price as Amazon, and through Amazon UK they charge only 1.79 pounds for shipping. Also I check eBay every now and then. Those sellers I mentioned operate through eBay also and ship internationally.
It's a bit of a sport, looking for those american blu-rays for a decent price, but that's also part of the fun.
Good luck!
"Will you just....take it....easy, man?"

The UK version has rating logos and blue bars printed on the packaging. It's ugly as f*ck and since I have a US version of S1 I want them to match up

Thanks for the suggestions, very helpful!
