LeBron has been outplaying everybody else in the finals, putting in the most complete games by far on both ends of the court.

becuase thats what clutch means man....being able to hit the big pressure shots...doing it with no pressure is just what he does....hes a beast...thats what he constantly does....

of course, there are other ways to be clutch....a clutch block, rebound etc etc...but the shots are what are remembered....

Yes, it is mind blowing. I love the fact that you're trying to argue about something you don't understand. That's what's truly mind blowing.

Clutch doesn't only meant hitting pressure shots. It means doing everything in your power to bring home the victory (on both ends of the courts), with offense, defense, rebounding, effort plays when the game is on the line. Oh, and hitting timely free throws as well.

No, what will be remembered if Miami wins the series is that LeBron scored 30+PPG and 10+RPG en route to a Finals MVP. Whether or not he hits a game winner during the course of the series, unless it's the final shot of the series, probably won't be remembered.

eh, honestly, not really...his numbers in the 4th are still unimpressive...if he was "clutch" lol....these games wouldnt even be close!

its his inability to be clutch that keeps the Thunder in these games in the 4th...

That’s just amazing skill and showing up to play. I want to see him when its 89-90, take the ball down the court, shake Durant, and drain a 30ft jumper. Or scream at D-Wade in the final seconds because he wants it all on him.

I think players fear him throughout the game, but I'd want to be the guy (like Jordan ) who when he got the ball in the 4th, or in baseball Rivera came out on the mound for the Yankees, Montana in the final minutes of a super bowl, you knew it was probably over no matter what happened the entire game.

And I know I don't feel he's that, maybe he will be, but I don't think anyones afraid of him that way.

Top player in the league YES, best DNA ever seen YES, but not that.

Who knows he may do that next week and become that guy like the names above, lord knows he gets enough support.

I think it's the 9 turnovers in the 4th that kept the Thunder in the game, most of which belonged to Wade due to his poor ball handling, more that anything else. And to be fair, the entire team shot poorly last game, especially in the second half. I don't think well shoot that badly in this series again. And I think his aggressive drives to the basket, rebounding, defense and free throw shooting was clutch in the 4th.

his 2 drives to the basket were good plays..and i honestly hate the "clutch" free throws nonsense lol.... they are FREE throws....hes supposed to make those....if he misses, then id say he choked but dont like people saying "he hit those clutch free throws"...

lebron also had 2 turnovers in the quarter....and funny how you cant mention 1 clutch shot but defend he was clutch

besides the conversation of clutch or not...Lebron is gettin it done....

Thunder need to come out swingin right off the bat tonight and not let up...

they need to collapse in the paint and keep the Heat from getting so many damn layups/dunks/ fouls.....

their number last game at the half were astonishing....i dont think they hit more than 3 shots outside of the paint

just checked...the Heat literally made 5 shots in the first half...everything else was a layup/dunk or free throw.....crazy

Someone did a project compiling data on game winning shots between 2004-2008 and came out to this. First number is all games, second is playoffs. Numbers are fairly consistent regardless of superstar.

http://www.82games.com/gamewinningshots.htm

LeBron James 34%, 4 for 8 (50%)
Kobe Bryant 25%, 4 for 8 (50%)
Ray Allen 38.5%, N/A
Dwayne Wade 27.5%, 2 for 2 (100%)

Having a harder time pinning down Jordan's game winning shot % but the most frequent number I'm seeing is 36%. About the game as LeBron's.

I don't hear too much in central Florida. And what I do hear are other Magic fans hating on Miami on local radio. I'm a Magic fan and I just don't get all the hate. Most in my region seemed to support Miami during their first title run with Wade and Shaq. And Shaq was a guy who fled the Magic. I don't have any strong preference but I'd rather the Heat win it.

Tonight is the big game IMO. OKC really needs this one. A 3-1 hole is hard to dig out of.

Nobody has EVER come back from 3-1 down in the Finals? I had no idea that was the case. Hit a pub anywhere in Osceola County or north of there in Florida and you'll probably get more people rooting for OKC than Miami.
