I would love to have this on blu, but it's too expensive now. Im sure it will be released closer to the prequel.

Well, this is getting a 3D re-release in January before Monsters University comes out, so I think there will be a re-issue, along with a 3D Blu-ray version, after that.

As far as I know, Toy Story and Toy Story 2 are the only Pixar films subject to the moratorium, though I don't know if they still are subject to it. But anyway, I don't think they'll let this be OOP for that long considering it isn't one of the vault titles. They're probably just getting ready for next year's releases and re-releases.

The individual 3D-combo Toy Story 1-3's are back in the vault already?

Hm? Maybe my wording wasn't clear. I was just mentioning that in the past and to my knowledge, Toy Story and Toy Story 2 have been subject to the vault, and that they are the only two Pixar films that have ever been advertised in that manner. (I'm just going on memory and could be wrong though.) And I was saying that I don't know if they are still going to be considered vault titles with their current editions.

That was just kinda an unrelated side comment, and then I went back to talking about Monsters, Inc. My point was just that Monsters, Inc. has never been considered a vault title, and shouldn't be out of print for long. Sorry for any confusion.

Good LORD!! That is insane prices for that movie. Glad I picked it and The Incredibles up when I had a chance.

The region-free 2-BD UK release is available for $28.xx shipped @ Amazon UK, so you don't have to pay insane scalper prices to get a sealed copy.
Forget The Evil Dead; what George Lucas has done to Star Wars since 1997 is truly "The Ultimate Experience in Grueling Terror".

Never go off of what Amazon says about region coding. If you would've went to the trouble of checking the "region coding" tab of the site's listing for the UK release, you would've noticed that several people have confirmed that this release is region-free.

Hell, even the back cover has the "ABC" logo on it! Do you really need any more proof?

I don't see the ABC logo on the back cover, and the region coding tab's most recent review is from 09.

OK, I'll be game and accept that you're truly unable to see the logo due to some undisclosed mental disability. I'll make it really easy for you:

OK, if it helps

I have had this disc for 3 years and have never had any problem playing it on any Region A player -- Sony, Panasonic, PS3 and Oppo.
