I thought Mrs. Doubtfire was golng to debut in Blu on Father's Day, along with all those WWII movies (Battle of the Bulge, The Longest Day, A Bridge Too Far). But if it's coming out a month earlier, fine with me.

Butch Cassidy in blu should be great. I have the DVD but the upscale doesn't do it justice.

Mrs Doubtfire is one of those movies I never actually got around to owning on DVD, so this is a for sure buy for me on Blu assuming there are no huge PQ issues. would love to see some bonus features (esp. bloopers and deleted/extended scenes - the more robin the better) but won't base buying decison on them.

Nice to see a date on it (though who konws how official it is, but I imagine it's pretty accurate)

Just watched Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Really good flick. The picture quality is better than many reviews say. The blu-ray is much better than any DVD I have seen. I give the movie 5/5 and the picture quality 4/5. This is a good western but also has some great laugh out loud moments. This is one movie I didn't want to end, it was too much fun to end.

100% agreed. As a kid, I hated westerns. But Butch and Sundance used to come on KTVU Channel 2 here in the San Francisco bay area almost every holiday. I remember the whole family getting in front of the TV to watch. It was the only movie they didn't censor out the curse words in syndication, in those days.

It's a special film. It was really the first buddy movie. Newman and Redford had great chemistry, and William Goldman's script has the snappiest, funniest dialogue of any film I've seen from before 1970.

I've got the blu-ray, but haven't opened it. Saving it for a nice holiday to share with the kids.
