Now that unique! Just dont make sense some of these Universals steels. Some obviously have had time and attention given to them to make something completely new, while others just got a quick copy and paste job from previous artwork, weird.

The blue doesn't seem energized enough a colour for the nature of this film. Although, I do like that back design.

I'm gonna keep my amaray for this one.

meh, another horizontal steel and the artwork isnt that unique as the front is identical to the original blu ray release. gonna pass on this and keep my reel heroes

Why do they insist on making these horizontal steelbooks...? Had to cancel "The Thing" and now I'm gonna cancel this...

Because they want to do something to stand out from the competition. Unfortunately, they keep losing my business because of it. The only horizontals that work for me are The Incredible Hulk and Kick Ass. Don't know why, but they just feel right having that edge of variety to them.

I not a horizontal fan either, but I do like how they've used it for the rear cover - it's really nice. Luckily I have the HMV exclusive steel on my shelf so I can take a more balanced view, because if I didn't I'm sure I'd be snapping it up! Such a fun movie.

Yes, I do believe it isn't "energized looking enough" (mostly through colour choice) for the film and the horizontal design doesn't work for me... at least with the front cover. HOWEVER!!! I should also say that if I hadn't already purchased the film in a standard amaray case, I'd be gobbling this up like the last cupcake at a 5 year olds birthday party!

The back art is the deal maker for me. I could manage to pass for it based on the front, though I do like the horizontal design and colour choice. However, like you, that amaray case purchase is holding me back. Also it's out just after Iron Man and Iron Man 2, near Jaws, Terminator and Avengers, and just before Indiana Jones

It's one of the few Universal steelbooks that really seems to grab my attention. As above, my choices were also TIH, Kick-Ass and this assuming a Casino situation doesn't arise. Children of Men and the Simon Pegg movies also look great to me so i also look forward to them.

I'm not as down on horizontal steelbooks but they are a tad impractical so if your gonna make em like that, the artwork has to be brilliant and some unfortunately aren't. To me though, they're a brilliantly quirky addition that break up all the vertical steelbooks you might be displaying.
