I remember a film called the Quest, or frog dreaming depending where you are from, when I was younger and from what I can remember I thought it was an OK film.

I would also like to add
Romper Stomper
Chopper
Dirty Deeds

I've seen it on Amazon UK. Might have to bunch it with other Aussies movies like Wolf Creek and The Loved Ones. However, I would prefer a local release.

Also, wasn't there meant to be a local release of Ned Kelly at the end of last year? Haven't seen it around in stores.

It's available. http://www.ezydvd.com.au/blu-ray/ned...ray/dp/6106697. I remember someone on here ordering and receiving it from Ezydvd last year when it was released. I've been meaning to buy it myself.

I want to get "The Castle" and "Chopper" on blu-ray like everyone else in this thread, but I've also heard good things about a movie called "The Boys" which I'd like to see on blu-ray.

I've got the US version of The Proposition and it's an outstanding disc.

Was going to purchase Wolf Creek from the UK but it doesn't have any lossless audio options.

I'd really like to see Lantana released on Blu-Ray.

Noise is another fantastic Aussie film.

It's available locally from Madman and is one of my fave Blu-Ray discs.

Highly recommended.

Without doubt one of the scariest, most chilling films I have seen.

It's worth seeing, for sure, even though it's a bit of a tough watch. A fairly gritty Aussie drama, something Peter Weir might have done, apparently given a splendid restoration by the Film and TV Archives mob in Canberra.

I've been meaning to buy it on BD myself, but every time I've found a copy on a shelf it's been about $48. If I find it in a JB sale, I'll nab it.

JB online has it listed for $24. I just watched a 6 min trailer on the restoration and the film sounds interesting, I may have to order it myself.

I own that on VHS and it is a cracker of a film... stars Henry Thomas, I actually watched it a few months back.

As for my additions to the list, I would like to see The Chant of Jimmie Black Smith, Turkey Shoot, Malcolm and maybe a Yahoo Serious Collection

I find it hard to watch films like this again after so many years in case it ruins your memories of it.

I was looking for a trailer for the boys on youtube and came across a Kiwi film called boy and it looked rather amusing.

I am liking this thread though as I am from the UK so there are a lot of films mentioned here that I have not heard of before
